El Palo-Pedregalejo, in Malaga City, is a coastal strip stretching for two kilometres not far from
the city centre. It is a residential zone highly regarded
for its new buildings and, without doubt, it is the most picturesque part
of the city. It has all of the necessary services: banks, a post
office, supermarkets and a great variety of shops. And, of course,
many opportunities exist for leisure activities other than the beach.
It is for these reasons that the Sol-Málaga
Language Institute - along with other language schools - is located in
this area offering Spanish Language Courses for Foreigners.

MÁLAGA, A TRADITION
OF SPANISH COURSES FOR FOREIGNERS
What makes
Málaga such an attractive spot for students?
|

For many years, Málaga, along
with Salamanca and Madrid, has been a city in which the number of schools
offering Spanish Language Courses for Foreigners is continually increasing.
Every year some thousands of students enroll in our schools of various
sizes and distinct characteristics. In general, this guarantees that
our schools offer courses that are professionally organized along with
an experienced professional staff.
There are other reasons above and
beyond the Experience and the Quality of the teaching methods:
An advantageous climate with little rain and many,
many hours of sunshine which is usual in virtually all of Andalucía,
but what contrasts strongly with the inland areas is the absence of the
rather colder winters and the hot summers in cities like Seville,
Córdoba and Granada. In Málaga, the Mediterranean Sea
keeps the winters benign and the summer temperatures mild. ... And
Sol-Málaga is right on the beach!
The warm character and hospitality of the Málaga
residents; which forms a legendary part of the Andalusian character.
Málaga is a medium sized city with a little
more than 600,000 inhabitants thus it has an adequate infrastructure without
being over-developed.
There is an important university and a good youth-oriented
environment.
In the city there are many foreign students studying
Spanish, but THERE ARE NO TURISTS, except those that come to visit the
monuments and museums in the city. These tourists stay in the hotels
in other areas on the Costa del Sol.
